One of the few things Moldova is famous for is it's wine. Cheap and good. The Cricova wines are as good as those you rarely afford while at home. Take advantage of your stay in Chisinau and visit the Cricova factory outlet on Stefan cel Mare street. You can get any kind of wine or champagne for as little as 5 bucks a bottle. For souvenirs go to the Galeria L on Bucuresti street. Here you can get hand crafted souvenirs.
